Who we are and what we do
An imprint of Little, Brown Book Group, Dialogue is the home to a variety of stories from voices often excluded from the mainstream conversation, with a focus on stories for, about and by a wide range of voices and readers from the LGBTQI+, disability, working class and Black, Asian and marginalised ethnic communities. Dialogue Books publishes commercial and literary titles across fiction and non-fiction, and its authors include Paul Mendez, Brit Bennett, Clint Smith, Nana Darkoa Sekyiamah, Niven Govinden, J.J. Bola, Irenosen Okojie and Okechukwa Nzelu.
What you’ll be doing
In this busy and varied role you will be responsible for:
- Driving the publication of Dialogue titles scheduled in 2021/22
- Liaising with departments across the division to ensure excellent publishing across all areas.
- Working closely with the Little, Brown marketing, publicity and sales teams to bring Dialogue publications to the widest range of consumers and retailers.
- Acquiring titles for the 2023 Dialogue publishing programme
This is a fantastic opportunity to work on one of the most exciting imprints in publishing. Dialogue Books is looking for a senior publisher on a parental leave contract, starting 5 July 2021.
Who we’re looking for
We are looking for a senior editorial talent who will take on existing projects, fiction and non-fiction, and drive the publishing strategy for these books, alongside acquiring new and exciting fiction and non-fiction.
Salary: £45,000 – £65,000
