From the publishers of the phenomenal bestseller THE SHACK comes a revolutionary new book about faith

Do you find yourself picking through circumstances like children plucking daisy petals attempting to figure out whether or not God loves you? If you find yourself least certain of his love in those critical moments when you most need to trust him, there is hope for you. Where? At the one event in human history that forever secured your place in the Father's heart--the cross. There you will discover that what he always wanted was not the fearful subservience of slaves, but the loving affection of sons and daughters.Startlingly honest and empathetically written, HE LOVES ME! reveals the facts of God's relentless grace. Readers will learn how to live consciously and confidently in his love all the time. Any Christian ready for a life-altering relationship with God will find out just how accessible that is.HE LOVES ME! is now a co-publishing venture between FaithWords and Windblown Media, distributed by Hodder Faith. Like THE SHACK, HE LOVES ME! was originally self-published. This book will appeal to all Christians who have doubted or lost their faith. Modern Korea: All That Matters

Andrew Salmon
Authors:
Andrew Salmon

In no nation on earth has history accelerated with such speed as in Korea. A medieval dynasty at the end of the 19th century, it underwent a traumatic colonization, then, in its hour of liberation was divided by the great powers at the end of World War II. Devastated by a fratricidal war, the peninsula has remained divided ever since.South Korea is the greatest national success story of the 20th century. From the ashes of war, it transformed itself, against the odds - and against much advice - into an industrial powerhouse and thriving democracy. Now a high-tech wonderland, it is undergoing social and cultural transformations that add further layers to its dynamic DNA.North Korea is an economic, social and political disaster, successful only at totalitarianism. Having transmogrified from a blood-and-iron communist dictatorship into a bizarre, neo-fascist monarchy, it is a black hole at the heart of Asia. Engulfed by paranoia, the regime presides over a malnourished populace, a 1.1 million man army and a nuclear arsenal. From nuclear missiles to Samsung smartphones; from assassins to salarymen; from Kim Il-sung to Psy; this is the extraordinary story of the flashpoint peninsula that dominates talk in boardrooms and newsrooms. Korea, the author argues, provides two stark benchmarks for national development: Epic success and catastrophic failure. And its final chapter has yet to be written.

The three sisters haven't been together for six years when they all gather at Calder Lodge in the wake of their stepmother's death. They quickly settle into the old sibling patterns: Vanessa, the eldest, clucks round like a mother hen; rebel Jamie, just back from America, is the outspoken one whose straight-talking isn't always to her sisters' taste; and Phil, the youngest, in the shadow of the other two, is willing to follow where they lead. But the familiar roles are deceptive. Vanessa's apparently happy marriage conceals domestic abuse; Jamie's successful career has ended in ruin and a broken heart; in fact it is Phil, always the low achiever, who has managed to make the most of her life. These secrets become apparent only after several months and the resolution of the various problems takes place against the breathtaking beauty of the Scottish Highlands. The sixth book in the Perthshire novels.

They are protective of Philippa, and anxious that she not be hurt. But the unlikely couple find they have more in common than it would appear, and liking progresses cautiously towards love. Though not before a series of misunderstandings threatens to ruin the relationship - unless these two wounded people can learn to trust each other.
