The extraordinary thriller with a twist from the New York Times bestselling author Scott Sigler - just don't spoil the ending!

Scott Sigler is the voice in modern horror - and the INFECTED trilogy is a terrifying, menacing series that will leave you sleepless.

They dropped from the atmosphere like microscopic snow. Billions of seeds, smaller than specks of dust, spiraling down from the heavens. Most didn't survive the journey.

But not all. And those that made it... began to grow.

Now three people face a race against time. Dew Phillips, an agent with a classified unit of the CIA, and Margaret Montoya, a government biologist, must try to stop a modern plague that drives its victims to insanity, murder and suicide.

And Perry Dawsey, a former athlete in a dead-end job, must race to find a cure for the rash that has appeared on his arm. And his back. And his neck. It's growing every day.
And then the voices start.

Scott Sigler is the voice in modern horror - and the INFECTED trilogy is a terrifying, menacing series that will leave you sleepless.

Gripping, pacy and often stomach-churningly violent...hard to put down — Independent
'His work is gripping, pacy and often stomach-churningly violent. He tells stories that are, as the saying goes, hard to put down!' — Weekend Australian
Sigler is masterful at grabbing the reader by the throat and refusing to let go...INFECTED is a marvel of gonzo, in-your-face, up-to-the-minute terror. — Lincoln Child, author of Deep Storm
Part Stephen King, part Chuck Palahniuk...a pulpy masterpiece of action, terror, and suspense. Three recommendations: don't read it at night, or just after you've eaten a full meal, or if you're weak of heart. You've been warned! — James Rollins, author of The Judas Strain
Sigler is the Richard Matheson of the 21st Century...smart and creepy, INFECTED is a flawless thinking-persons thriller. Bravo to a bold new talent! — Jonathan Maberry, Bram Stoker Award-winning author of Bad Moon Rising
'Even hardened genre fans will find themselves whimpering at each new revelation. This terrifying page-turner could be the author's breakout book.' — Publisher's Weekly - Starred review
From where I stand, Sigler is at the top of the tree — Jason Bradbury, BBC, on EarthCore
This novel's got it all: cutting-edge science; a perfectly-realized setting; terror both plausible and profoundly unsettling. EarthCore is more exciting than a thriller has any right to be! — Lincoln Child on EarthCore
Bad things happen to bad people in this book. Then they happen some more. Very. Bad. Things. Things that make you wonder just what sort of childhood the author must have lived through. No way I'm going caving with him anytime soon. Or letting him near knives in my presence. — Evo Terra, host of XM Satellite and FM syndicated radio show 'The Dragon Page' on EarthCore
EarthCore is in-your-face, steel-tipped boot on your throat, speed-metal fiction. Nail-biting suspense and non-stop action breathe life into his debut novel — Tee Morris, co-author of Podcasting for Dummies
The Hot Zone meets "Invasion of the Body Snatchers" as an unidentified "virus" sweeps America. It is as graphically horrid as Palahniuk and as compulsive as Stephen King — Bookseller
Why then choose INFECTED over the latest cinematic thrillers? Because it packs more thrills and ingenious ideas into its 339 pages than Hollywood has managed in 100 years...imagine a genetic splice of The Last Boy Scout, Body Snatchers and Richard Matheson's Shrinking Man, and you're on the way to understanding the slack-jawed fun of INFECTED — SFX
Gripping, pacy and often stomach-churningly violent...Sigler seems to have star potential — Guy Adams in The Independent
Fast-paced and engaging...a compelling read and an exciting story well-told — Black Static

When an eleven-year-old boy is found murdered in a town park, reliable eyewitnesses undeniably point to the town's popular Little League coach, Terry Maitland, as the culprit. DNA evidence and fingerprints confirm the crime was committed by this well-loved family man. Horrified by the brutal killing, Detective Ralph Anderson, whose own son was once coached by Maitland, orders the suspect to be arrested in a public spectacle. But Maitland has an alibi. And further research confirms he was indeed out of town that day.As Anderson and the District Attorney trace the clues, the investigation expands from Ohio to Texas. And as horrifying answers begin to emerge, so King's propulsive story of almost unbearable suspense kicks into high gear.Terry Maitland seems like a nice guy but there is one rock-hard fact, as unassailable as gravity: a man cannot be in two places at the same time. Can he?

The seventeenth V.I. Warshawski thriller from one of America's greatest female crime writers.Twenty-five years ago, Stella Guzzo beat her daughter to death and then walked up the street to play bingo at her parish church. Chicago detective V.I. Warshawski grew up with the Guzzo family. She dated Frank Guzzo when they were teens and knew Stella's murderous rages first-hand, so she was relieved when a judge sent Stella to prison for a long stretch.V.I. and Frank went their different ways, V.I. to university and law school, Frank to marriage, children, and a job as a truck driver. She didn't think about the family again until the day Frank came to her office, wanting V.I. to help his mother with an exoneration claim. The detective wants no part of Stella Guzzo's world, but she realizes how hard life has been for Frank, stuck in the gang-ridden streets around Chicago's dead steel mills, and she doesn't feel able to say no.V.I. starts asking questions, but the answers leave her puzzled. Was Stella's daughter Annie the ardent girl V.I. remembers, looking for a college education as a way out of South Chicago? Or was she a calculating, amoral person, as Stella claims? And what about the lawyers Annie worked for - why did they insist on representing Stella in her murder trial? V.I.'s inquiries put her smack in the path of a notorious Mob enforcer. When she gets jumped in her old 'hood, her biggest question becomes whether she will live long enough to find the answers.
