Michael Jacobs

Michael Jacobs was born in Italy. He studied Art History at the Courtauld Institute of Art, from which he has a doctorate. Spain has obsessed him since childhood and his numerous books include Andalucia, Between Hopes and Memories: A Spanish Journey and most recently Alhambra. He is a member of the Andalucian Academy of Gastronomy and in 2002 was made the first foreign knight of 'The Very Noble and Illustrious Order of the Wooden Spoon'.
Noël Janis-Norton

Noël Janis-Norton graduated from teacher-training college at New York University. Her career as a learning and behaviour specialist spans more than forty years. She has been a classroom teacher, a special needs teacher and advisor, a tutor specialising in learning strategies, a head teacher and a parenting educator. Noël is the founder and director of the Calmer, Easier, Happier Parenting Centre in London, which provides courses and consultations for parents of toddlers through teens. A regular speaker at professional conferences, Noël has also been featured on numerous television and radio programmes. In addition to lecturing widely in the UK and the US, she also trains teachers and parenting practitioners in her unique and highly effective methods. She is the spokesperson for National Family Week and the parenting expert for Macaroni Kid (a popular website for parents in the US). Through her seminars, courses and talks for parents, and through her books, CDs and DVDs, she has helped transform the lives of tens of thousands of families. Noël's most comprehensive book, Calmer, Easier, Happier, Parenting, was published in 2012. Noël has two grown children, a foster daughter and six grandchildren.

After an international career in management consulting she currently lectures in leadership to students and executives and is a Visiting Fellow at the Centre for Leadership Studies at Exeter. She is currently based in Dubai and lectures worldwide. She has published over 20 books on business and management techniques.
Ellen Jovin

Ellen Jovin is a co-founder and principal of Syntaxis, a communication skills training firm based in New York City. She has taught business writing, email etiquette, and grammar at companies throughout the U.S. in all major industries. Previously she worked as a professional writer, creating marketing and advertising materials for corporate clients, and before that as a freelance journalist specializing in business, finance, and technology. Ellen earned a B.A. in German studies from Harvard University and an M.A. in comparative literature from UCLA.
Nicholas Jubber

Nicholas Jubber moved to Jerusalem after graduating from Oxford University. He'd been working two weeks when the intifada broke out and he started planning to travel the Middle East and East Africa. Rod Judkins

Rod Judkins is an accomplished lecturer at Central St Martin's, one of the world's pre-eminent art schools whose alumni - ranging from artists like Lucien Freud, and Antony Gormley through to the designers Stella McCartney and Alexander McQueen - have helped shape our culture. Judkins has lectured on the subject of creativity at universities and to businesses around the world. He blogs at Psychology Today, and also acts as a consultant to numerous private companies. Trained at The Royal College of Art, he has exhibited at galleries including Tate Britain, The National Portrait Gallery and The Royal Academy.
Lorraine Justice

Lorraine Justice is Professor of Industrial Design and the former Dean of the College of Imaging Arts and Sciences at the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). She is a Fellow of the Industrial Designers' Society of America (IDSA) and was named one of the top 40 designers to watch by ID Magazine. She was also named one of the top 50 in product design in 2016. She serves on six editorial boards for Design Journals around the world and as an advisor to global design institutions. Justice is also a consultant to multinational corporations such as Apple, Microsoft, IBM, Compuserv, Lutron, Proctor and Gamble, Levi's and NCR. She is also the Director of the East West Center for Design Research, with centres in China and Italy. In addition, she will be engaged in design education in India, China and the US, bringing the latest technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) to the curriculum of design universities.
