The Dalai Lama

His Holiness the Dalai Lama, the exiled religious and temporal leader of Tibet and winner of the 1989 Nobel Peace Prize, is recognised internationally as a spiritual leader and statesman. He lives in Dharamsala, India. Nicholas Vreeland has been a practicing Tibetan Buddhist monk since 1985, when he was ordained by the Dalai Lama. Since 1998 he has been the Director of the Tibet Center.
Dr Daniel Freeman

Professor Daniel Freeman is one of the UK's leading clinical psychologists. He is a Professor of Clinical Psychology and Medical Research Council (MRC) Senior Clinical Fellow at the University of Oxford. He was awarded the 2008 May Davidson prize by the British Psychological Society which marks 'an outstanding contribution to the development of clinical psychology. A key figure in the latest developments in cognitive behaviour therapy, he teaches clinicians around the world.

Ruth Davidson

Ruth Davidson is the leader of the Scottish Conservative and Unionist Party and the MSP for Edinburgh Central. First elected in 2011, she won the party leadership later that same year, becoming - at the age of 32 - the youngest leader of a major political party anywhere in the UK as well as the first openly gay leader in UK history.Prior to politics, Ruth worked as a journalist. Caitlin Davies

Caitlin Davies was born in London in 1964. She is the author of five novels and five non-fiction books, and has worked as a teacher and freelance journalist for 25 years. In 1989 she moved to Botswana where she worked for the country's first tabloid newspaper, the Voice, and later as editor of the Okavango Observer. She received a Journalist of the Year award. Kerry Daynes

Kerry Daynes is a Forensic Psychologist. She runs her own private psychology practice and works with her team of psychologists and psychotherapists for a variety of agencies, including making contributions to major police investigations. An average week can involve working with everything from shoplifters and stressed out parents to serial killers. She also acts as an expert witness in Criminal Court proceedings. She has worked with some of Britain's most complex criminals in prison and community settings. Kerry regularly makes expert comments for TV and radio, including appearing in the Sky series 'Killing Mum and Dad' and the Channel 4 'Mania' series. She presented 'The Making of a Monster' series for the Crime and Investigation Channel in 2008, examining the background of notorious killers. Sarah De Carvalho

In 1992 Sarah de Carvalho left her glittering, well-paid media career in London to live and work amongst the street children of Rio de Janeiro's slums. Sarah founded the Happy Child Mission which is dedicated to providing physical, educational and spiritual care for street children. Today, Happy Child runs 9 homes in two major cities in Brazil and has rescued, rehabilitated and reintegrated over 7500 children.
