Yellow Kite has acquired a first book by healthy living expert Calgary Avansino

Yellow Kite has acquired a first book by healthy living expert Calgary Avansino. Publisher Liz Gough bought UK & Commonwealth rights from Elizabeth Sheinkman at WME.

Calgary Avansino, Contributing Editor and Columnist at Vogue and columnist for The Sunday Times Style magazine, is passionate about clean eating and about helping the whole family make positive healthy changes. She encourages us to eat more wholefoods, vegetables and plants, to recognise and limit sugar in our diets, to cut out processed food and to find alternatives for dairy, wheat and animal protein.

KEEP IT REAL: Eat well, feel well, live well – a step by step guide to a healthy life for the whole family offers inspiration and tips on making healthy food swaps, being organised in the kitchen, fantastic recipes and other ways to help us all find balance – and learn to keep it real.

Liz Gough commented “I am so happy to bring Calgary to the Yellow Kite list. She is at the cutting edge of health, wellbeing and lifestyle trends, and is also a working mum of three, so she knows how important it is for busy parents to look after and nourish themselves, so that they in turn can take care of the rest of the family’s needs. In her book Calgary will inspire us all to look at our lives and make positive changes – it’s going to be fabulous.”

Calgary Avansino remarks "What I want most is to help people create lasting change in their lives - to feel healthy, energetic, strong and positive. I hope every page of my book will educate & inspire someone to try something new and encourage them to start taking the steps toward feeling and looking great. Being healthy doesn't have to be difficult and it should always be delicious, I promise."

KEEP IT REAL will be published in hardback in Spring 2016 by Yellow Kite, an imprint of Hodder & Stoughton.
