We are delighted to announce the winner of the competition for the best short story inspired by Stephen King’s UNDER THE DOME, as judged by Stephen King and his editor.

The winner is Tim Crosby, who submitted his short story PACHA. As Stephen King describes, ‘Tim knows that there are few things in the world more affecting than a dog who faithfully returns the tennis ball’.

We would like to thank everyone who entered their stories into the competition.  There was some terrific talent and, as Stephen King writes, ‘it was also fun to watch them work to incorporate the dome idea into so many different story ideas’.
