Matt Hilton worked for twenty-two years in private security and the police force in Cumbria. He is a 4th Dan blackbelt and coach in Ju-Jitsu. He lives in Cumbria with his wife and son.

Hi, I'm Matt Hilton, the author of the Joe Hunter series of crime thriller books that kicked off with Dead Men's Dust in May 2009. I love to read and write fast-moving, cinematic action thrillers, and plan to continue doing so for a long time to come. The fourth Joe Hunter book, Cut and Run, is due for release by Hodder and Stoughton in August 2010.
